ODNR’s Fish Ohio Program, recognizing top trophy fishing lakes, has released the 2007 results and NE Ohio lakes score well.
As to be expected, tops in the report is the big water, Lake Erie. Erie Scores highest overall and is tops for Walleye, Steelhead, Perch, Smallmouth, Rock and White Bass.
Own Mosquito Creek Lake is tops in Northern Pike, 3rd in Catfish and 5th in Muskie.
West Branch is the second lake in Muskie and third in Pike.

If you do want a license, head over to Wild Ohio to buy online. Licenses for those between sixteen and 65 are $19, seniors are $10. One day licenses are $11, and can be applied to an annual.
