Steel Valley Outdoors is a Blog dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents of the Mahoning Valley.

I believe that this area has unique opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast. Although not known for having any one outstanding recreational activity, we do have the opportunity to participate in just about any activity one can imagine. Because of this, there are many separate communities outdoor communities in this area : Cyclists and hunters, Climbers and kayakers, Skiers and campers.

My Hope with this website is to unite these different communities and to encourage communication within the wider community.
