WHAT:            52nd annual Cleveland Boat & Waterfront Lifestyle Expo
WHEN:            January 16-25, 2009
WHERE:           I-X Center, One I-X Center Drive, Cleveland, OH 44135
FEATURING: More than 1,000 of the newest power and sail boats; hundreds of accessory booths.

HIGHLIGHTS:
• Many new boaters look to the used boat market when making their first purchases. Accordingly, the expo has expanded to include a Pre-owned Pavilion for the first time in its history.
• Twiggy the Water Skiing Squirrel has been delighting audiences for decades on her miniature skis behind a remote-controlled powerboat. She will perform multiple times each day in her heated circular pool.
• Exhibitors have teamed up to offer Family Fun Day on a Boat giveaways. Visitors may register to win fishing trips, sunset cruises, island runs and sailing excursions on Lake Erie and inland waterways. Raffles for the trips will be held each day.
• Children and families should be sure to check out Capt’n Willie the Great Lakes Pirate for a dose of music, nautical nonsense and Great Lakes trivia. Capt’n Willie will perform several times during the week.
• Ravenna Marine will be giving away a $22,000 Glastron powerboat. Visitors may enter the drawing at the Ravenna Marine booth during the show.
• Special events include Wakeboard Weekends (appearances by four-time world champion wakeboarder Shaun Murray during the first weekend and five-time X Games medalist Emily Durham on the second weekend), Lake Erie Day on Monday and Put-in-Bay Day on Wednesday.

Fridays, January 16, 23:           3 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturdays, January 17, 24:         11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Sundays, January 18, 25:           11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Monday, Wednesday, January 19, 21: Noon – 9 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday, January 20, 22: 3 p.m. – 9 p.

ADMISSION:

Adults- $12, Children 12 and under free.
