Kite Board + Tropical Storm = Good Idea!
Regular readers know that I take a cautious approach to outdoor recreation: Anyone who enjoys an inherntly risky activity should know when conditions exceed their ability to control them.
Therefore, It should come as no surprise that I am not sympathetic to the Florida man who nearly killed himself Kite Surfing Tropical Storm Kay:
I Know when I think of ” Controllable Risks”, Hurricanes and Tropical Storms spring right to mind. The surfer is still in critical condition, and I’m sorry for his family. I’d like to say more, but this is just sad.
